Famous for its festivals is the city of Galway on the river Corrib. Festivals of music, food and culture take place every summer and there are over fifty festivals a year. Galway has some gorgeous scenery with mountainous landscapes, cobblestone streets in its medieval town centre, and The Collegiate Church of St Nicholas of Myra is definitely worth a look.
