Experience the Dead Sea mud and water packed with minerals, at one of the spa resorts. The area around the Dead Sea has many more entertainment too, with waterfalls, wildlife, and spectacular views.
Jerusalem is a must see, with many places of holy history to see at the walled Old City, and you can post a prayer to God by pushing a note between the mighty stones of the Western Wall which attracts a constant flow of visitors.
For desert Tours by jeep, foot or horseback, visit the Red Sea resort of Eilat, or scuba, snorkel in the coral rich waters for some great underwater sights. You can also sail, water-ski, surf or swim at the sandy beaches.
Summers in Israel especially Southern Israel, can be very hot with temperatures climbing to 40°C in July and August. It is wet weather from November to March; the rest of the year is dry. Both winter and summer is cooler in the North, with high summer temperatures around 30°C.
