How do I list my property for Rental?

Listing your property on First Choice Vacation Homes is easy. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Register an account
Firstly you need to register an account with us to confirm who you are. This will allow you to log into the 'Owners' section of the website and view/amend your details and properties.
To do this just click on 'Owners' on the right hand side, fill out the form and enter the correct security word, then press 'Register'.
If you filled out the form correctly, you will receive a message telling you your account has been created, and you will receive an email containing a validation link.
2. Validate your account
Once you have registered your details you will be sent an email containing a validation link. To validate your account you must visit this validation link. To do this, copy the whole validation link into your browser and press 'Go'.
When you visit the validation link, you will see a message confirming that your account is now active. You will be unable to log into your account until you visit this validation link.
This step is simply to confirm your email address is valid. If you're having trouble, just contact us.
3. Get all your property details together
To list your property you will need to have all your property details with you including a description of your property and some pictures.
Make sure you have all this available before you begin.
4. Log into the website
Go to the 'Owners' section, and log in using your email address and password.
If you are unable to log in, either your email or password is incorrect, or you have not validated your account (Step 2).
5. List your Home: i. Location
To select the location of your home go to the 'Owners' section, then click 'List your Home'.
You will be shown a map of the world. Simply click on the location of your home, and the location will be broken down further.
You will then be shown asked to set up your Location Map. Simply Zoom into the location of your area, and click on the map to pinpoint your location.

5. List your Home: ii. Details
Once you have successfully selected your Location, you will be taken to the Details page.
Here you enter all the details regarding your property including the Title, Address, Features, Description, Rates etc.
Once you have completed all the fields, click 'Next'.
5. List your Home: iii. Photographs
Now you must upload a picture of your home. To do this, click 'Browse' and select a picture from your local machine.
Once you have selected a picture, click 'Add Picture' and the picture will be uploaded to your account.
Once you have successfully uploaded a picture, it will be displayed, and you may add or delete pictures as you wish.
NOTE: You must have at least 1 picture of your property in order to add a listing on First Choice Vacation Homes.
Once you are happy with your pictures, Click 'Next'.
5. List your Home: iv. Listing Options
Here you can select whether you would like a Basic or a Sponsored Listing.
Sponsored listings appear at the top of every search, and are also advertised on the left of every page.
You will also be able to enter any promotion code you might have found in a newspaper or magazine.
Here you also have the option of linking to any rentors.org accounts you may already have. FCVH is compatible with the rentors.org availability calendar and guestbook.
Once you are happy with your selection, Click 'Next'.
5. List your Home: v. Confirmation
Now you have added all the details for your home you will be asked to review all your information.
You may edit anything by clicking 'Edit' in the appropriate section.
You will also be shown any charges that your listing has incurred, if any.
Once you are happy with your listing, Click 'Complete Listing'.
6. Payment
You will now be taken to a secure payment page. Here you may select your payment method and we will approve your listing as soon as payment is received.
Please note it can take up to an hour from receipt of payment for your listing to be 'live' on the website.
7. Testimonials
Once your property is listed you should begin to gather some testimonials from your customers. You will find your testimonials within the details of your property listing.
Testimonials play a huge part in establishing the trust customers need before they will consider booking a property.
We strongly recommend you encourage your customers to submit their testimonials. You can also point potential new customers to your testimonials page, so they can read what previous customers thought of their stay with you.
